CULTURAL ART
Collaborating with our colleagues to share and plan an art lesson was an absolute joy. One of the highlights of this experience was delving into the rich cultural tapestry of the Cook Islands, where we had the privilege of learning about traditional art forms such as eii katu, printing, and raranga. These artistic practices are visually captivating and also profoundly rooted in the daily life and traditions of the Cook Islands. It was a wonderful opportunity to immerse ourselves in the vibrant Kuki heritage, and we left the experience with a newfound appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship that have been passed down through generations.
